Have you got a hedge
around your garden?
One of the most common complaints we receive at the Town Hall is about
hedges or vegetation encroaching onto pavements. It makes it particularly
difficult for mothers pushing prams while holding on to a toddler and for any
residents that travel around on mobility scooters. The worst cases are when
pedestrians have to step into the road to get round the obstacle. Quite often
they also cover information on sign posts, be it a road name or a sign post to
a particular place. May we ask that you take 5 minutes today to check your
boundaries and ensure there is nothing that may hinder anyone using the
footpaths around your property? Thank you.
