Located in the Community Support Centre adjacent to Café Qualita, the RAF
Brize Norton Community Support Team provide deployment support to
personnel and their families, including the organisation of Deployed Families
Luncheons, Storybook Wings Recordings and the facilitation of Station Recall
Days, a mandated course that all personnel must attend following a deployment.
They communicate with families via an email distribution list, sending out details
of station and local events, military discounts and more. The Community Support
Team also take care of the VW California Campervan. Mrs Abby Gibson is
the Welfare Facilities Co-Ordinator, managing and arranging bookings for the
station’s 8 welfare houses. In addition to this she is the main point of contact for
