These assets and facilities are available
for all personnel to hire, however
Junior Ranks get priority on bookings
for the VW Campervan.
The HIVE Information Officers are
located in the same building as the
Community Support Team. They assist
with deployment support as well
as providing a confidential welfare
referral service to all personnel.
They can be contacted for any local
information, and new arrivals to RAF
Brize Norton will receive a HIVE
Information Pack if they occupy
Service Families Accommodation
(SFA). In addition to this they can
offer advice to personnel who are
leaving the area including moves to
overseas locations. The HIVE can
be contacted for appointments with
the Citizens Advice Bureau who
visit the station twice a week, the
solicitors who provide an initial 30
minute free consultation and Forces
Financial who are at RAF Brize Norton
every Wednesday offering advice on
mortgages, savings, investments and
insurance. They also host a coffee
morning every Thursday from 9.30am-
12.30pm. Everybody is welcome to
come along; there is a small soft play
area and complimentary tea and
coffee for all.
