As someone who loves cooking and entertaining,
Ann Bailey knew she would be spending most of
her spare time in the kitchen.
“It was really important for me to have a kitchen that not only
looked beautiful but worked brilliantly too” comments Ann.

traditional furniture but with a lighter, simpler touch and very
clean lines” she continues.
The island, positioned to enjoy views of the garden, links the
kitchen and the dining area. It gives the sociable aspect so
important to Ann, and provides plenty of preparation space and
a sink, making it very practical for keen cooks.
The tall unit in bleached oak, housing the fridge freezer and
larder cupboard, adds a natural warmth to the design and
provides a soft contrast to the painted warm grey chosen for the
rest of the furniture.
