Built in the 1870s by the Earl of Ducie as a hunting
Lodge with stabling for forty horses, The Langston
was converted to a Residential Home in 1985.
Over the years purpose built nursing wings have
been added and now it has been refurbished to its
current state as a Nursing Home.
The Langston Nursing Home is now a 36 bedded
Nursing Home providing a secure, stable and
comfortable environment offering a high standard
of care and support to residents with Nursing and
Dementia needs. The Langston also offer respite
care and day care which is tailor-made to suit the
needs of the person. They also have a wide selection
of activities for those who wish to take part ranging
from musical entertainment, arts and crafts, music
and movement, pampering sessions, hairdressing,
outings. There is also a secure garden, and a
courtyard which we have adapted for any resident
wishing to do some gardening /planting.
The Langston is run for the benefit of the residents
and we welcome suggestions and comments at all
times enabling us to improve our quality of care.
