Hi, I’m Davy, a chilled out
greyhound.
I am an ex-racer now looking
for a relaxing home where I can
snooze the day away. I am a
friendly boy and love nothing
more than having my humans
around me for company and a bit
of fuss. I have a bit of a wonky
nose but I think it just gives me a
bit more character.
I have been social with the dogs
that I have met at the centre
and would be happy to live with
another dog, as long as we get on
here at the centre of course.
I haven’t lived with children
before but I am happy to give
it a go, as I am a pretty chilled
out lad.

to hosting a ball! They are also
encouraging supporters to have
fun and think of unique ways
to ‘Go Blue’ and raise money.
“Join in and have fun.” Tina said.
“Why not hold a poker night or
wear a onesie to work, dye your
hair blue or maybe a Big Blue
bake sale.” One volunteer raised
over £1,000 by taking part in a
boxing match. “He’d never boxed
before!” Annalisa de Carteret,
Burford Blue Cross Volunteer
Coordinator, said. “He won in
the first round to a guy who
had boxed before. It shows how
you can raise money in different
ways; he reached lots of people
who probably hadn’t thought
about the Blue Cross – it’s good
to get a new audience.”
On Saturday 14th May, Carterton
is Going Blue with a community
fun day and Big Blue Bungee!
Supporters need to sign up to
participate in the bungee jump
in advance (registration fee and
sponsorship required). This is
all taking place on the Alvescot
Road Recreation Ground by kind
permission of Carterton Town
Council. Anyone interested in
