Celebrate LGBT month and join Elly Barnes, voted No. 1 on the
Independent on Sunday’s Pink List 2011, for an inspirational and
entertaining lecture to get you changing opinion and incorporating
diversity in your school or workplace.
Elly will talk about her own experiences (successes and failures!)
in creating institutional change and share her tried and
tested approaches to creating an enlightened LGBT friendly
environment. Elly is the Director of Education for LGBT History
month and LGBT Schools Advisor for Birmingham City Council
and the lecture will be interactive and practical ensuring you leave
with resources and ideas you can implement the very next day.
This is suitable for teachers, education professionals, students and
anyone interested in promoting diversity within their organisation.
