LGBT History Events
There are loads of great events going on in the Fyne Times area this
LGBT History Month. Here are a few of them. For a more detailed look

1st February
Launch Event
12.30pm, The Guildhall, Market Square, Cambridge CB2 3QJ
Come and see the flag raised as Cambridge officially launches
LGBT History month 2016.
Cost: FREE
Religion, Belief & Philosophy Through the Lens at Cineworld
Cinema - Cardiff City Centre, at 7:00 pm
Iris Prize and Pride Cymru present a collection of short films to
celebrate LGBT History month at Cineworld Cardiff. Following
the showing of the films there will also be a Q & A session.
2nd February
Educate & Celebrate Midlands Showcase
Birmingham Metropolitan College, Matthew Boulton Campus, at 6:00 pm
Primary schools, secondary schools, colleges and Universities are invited to perform their
LGBT+Inclusive work from the curriculum to highlight their ground breaking inclusion of
sexual orientation and gender identity. Performances will include speeches, dances, songs,
readings, drama, PRIDE Youth Network campaigns along with the debut of the Equality
Song and Equality Play for Birmingham and key speeches from members of the council, the
LGBT community and allies. All schools in the region are invited to take part, to register
