Hot on the heels of adding the Land Rover and Jaguar brand franchises in Oxford, Top
20 Motor Retail Group, Ridgeway, have now increased their brand portfolio to include
Italian performance car maker Maserati.
John O’Hanlon, Chief Executive, said “This new relationship with Maserati, in their 100
year centenary, is the perfect fit for Ridgeway. Maserati’s new model announcements
will result in significant growth in volume and build on the brand’s widening appeal.
Ridgeway investment in a stand-alone showroom in Oxford will offer the very best
Maserati experience.”
Ridgeway Maserati will initially operate from a temporary showroom on Cumnor Hill,
Cumnor, Oxford (open now) before moving into a dedicated stand-alone Maserati car
showroom along with full service and repair facilities in Cumnor, Oxford (next door to
Ridgeway Jaguar) – opening in May/June 2014.
“Maserati is planning to sell 50,000 cars a year globally by 2015 – more than eight times its
sales figure for 2012. With the arrival of the new Quattroporte, Ghibli and the Levante, the SUV
launching later this year – this is an exciting time for Maserati. Ridgeway are proud to represent
such an iconic brand in a territory we know well.” John added.
The site will be branded as Ridgeway Maserati. Ridgeway will recruit five additional staff –
increasing the company’s workforce close to 1,200 employees.
