My name is Debbie, & I have been
working as a florist for over 25 years
now- this is about the same length of
time that I have been a Goth too!
Wedding flowers have always been my
favourite to make. I use my love of the
Gothic sub-culture & all things macabre
to create darkly romantic bouquets that
are as unique as you are. I embrace
the unusual! I have incorporated skulls,
spiders, bats, buttons, jewellery,
feathers, crystals & even barbed wire
into my creations, so don’t be afraid to
ask for something you might think a
little odd! I have had my own business,
Rosegarden, since 1996, when I had
a small pitch in the Bizarre Bazaar at
the Whitby Goth Weekend. Since then
it has snowballed and I now send my
creations all over the world! Some well
known people who have bought/own
my creations include- Captain Sensible
(The Damned), Storm Constantine
& Freda Warrington (authors), Rose
McDowell (Strawberry Switchblade), Su
(Cauda Pavonis), Alixandrea (Last July) ,
Joe Black (Cabaret entertainer), Ratfink
(Vince Ripper & The Rodent Show), &
Nik Fiend (Alien Sex Fiend). I can make
all kinds of wedding flowers including
Bride’s bouquets, Bridesmaid’s posies,
Flower-wands, Buttonholes, Corsages,
Wrist-corsages, Cake-toppers, Table &
Venue decorations, Feather/plume pens
and much more. I also make headdresses
such as Veils, Fascinators, Alice-Bands,
Circlets, Combs etc. These can be worn
for all kinds of occasions, or just out
clubbing. Most of my creations are in
artificial flowers such as Polysilk, Foam,
Plastic or Latex. I can make items using
real flowers but this will depend on your
location as I cannot post fresh flowers.
I am based in Birmingham UK but I
can ship worldwide. I offer a relaxed,
friendly service and I can cater for all
budgets.
Please visit my Facebook page to see
a large selection of photographs of my
work. You can contact me there or my
Email to discuss your requirements.
So if you want to be a Corpse Bride
or Vampire Princess- don’t dream it...
BE IT!
Are you getting married, having a Hand-fasting, Blood ceremony,
or any other kind of commitment ceremony? Are you looking for
flowers to compliment your theme but are worried about being
sneered or looked down on by a more “traditional” florist if you
want black flowers? Well look no further!
