Saturday 19th July
Didcot Town Fayre
The 2014 Didcot Town Fayre will take place in Edmonds Park on Saturday 19th July. The Fayre is intended
to be an afternoon of fun for all the family with lots to see and do. Local clubs and groups will be giving
demonstrations of their activities. Also confirmed is a dog show organised by the Deaf Dog Network,
Phoenix mini ponies, bbq, static display of falconry by Millets Farm, an inflatable slide, beer tent, pig roast, a
tea tent and much, much more.
There will a baking competition and a produce show as well as lots of craft and side stalls. The Fayre will
start at 12 noon and it is hoped to take it into the early evening with live music from local bands. Make a
date in your dairies to come along and join in the fun.

Abingdon Horse Show
After Berkshire Downs Riding Club took over the horse show in 2006 it has gone from strength to
strength. There are now over 300 regular competitors and hundreds of spectators. Events are taking
place at Rye Farm Meadows, Abingdon Bridge and the showground opens from 8am. Visit www.

White Horse Folk Festival
Taking place in Grove, the WHFF is a small and friendly festival for folk fans who enjoy good much, real ale
and good friends. It’s a weekend long party with loads of different events, acts, local dance sides and plenty
of opportunities to join in. And there is camping available too!
