Small Business Saturday
Following the success of Shop Carterton Day, and
in-keeping with the Crier’s focus on shopping local,
Carterton is involved with Small Business Saturday.
Small Business Saturday is on Saturday 5 December in Carterton town centre.
The Small Business Saturday movement was founded in 2010 by American
Express in the US – which continues to be an active supporter in the UK. The
campaign exists as a nationwide promotional tool. For the campaign, any
business with annual revenues under £10 million is considered a small business.
All and any small business can get involved! From a one-man-band, through to
a high growth office; from a plumber to a social media guru – whatever your
business, whatever your size, whatever stage you are at – the campaign exists to
help you!
