Location
Highbury College has five sites at different locations in
and around Portsmouth, and is an integral part of the
community that we serve.
Remit
Highbury College has over 40 years teaching and
learning experience. We take pride in our commitment
to equality and diversity, supporting students of all
abilities and from all backgrounds. We provide a vast
range of courses in and around Portsmouth, from basic
skills courses in literacy and numeracy to foundation
degree courses.
Example Vacancies
We employ Lecturers and Assessors across a wide range
of vocations, including construction, hair and beauty,
healthcare and business courses. Our support staff
provide expertise in finance, administration, IT and HR.
Salary Range and Benefits
Lecturers enjoy 45 days annual leave (excluding bank
holidays) and all staff benefit from our extensive
learning and development programmes. Salaries and
benefits depend upon the position.

mhs homes is the largest landlord
in Kent, owning and managing
over 8000 homes in the Medway area.
Our core business is the provision of high quality
affordable homes for people to rent and buy through
shared ownership. We also make a crucial contribution
to the wider regeneration of the area and promote
social enterprise. We recognise that it is vital to work
in partnership with other major organisations within
Medway to improve local neighbourhoods and help
people living in these diverse communities to achieve
their potential. Each year our staff can volunteer
for a day at a local organisation to help support the
community we serve. mhs homes currently employs 280
people.
