Bath Spa University is a small and friendly institution
with a number of campuses based in and around the
City of Bath in the South West of England.
Remit
Offering pre-degree, undergraduate and postgraduate
degrees in a wide range of programmes and with around
7,000 students we are small enough for students and
staff to benefit from a supportive and friendly study
and work environment, but large enough to provide
excellent facilities and resources. Our Vision is to be

Natural Resources Wales
Location
Natural Resources Wales has about 2,050 staff working
at our offices and depots all over Wales.
Remit
We are the principal adviser to the Welsh Government
on the environment, enabling the sustainable
development of Wales’ natural resources for the benefit
of people, the economy and wildlife. On 1st April 2013
Natural Resources Wales brought together the work
of the Countryside Council for Wales, Environment
Agency Wales and Forestry Commission Wales, as well
as some functions of Welsh Government.
We are now one of the biggest providers of outdoor
recreation in Wales, and provide 24 hour emergency
response to reported incidents that include flooded
homes, polluted rivers and illegally dumped waste.
Our purpose is to ensure that the natural resources of
Wales are sustainably maintained, enhanced and used,
now and in the future.

We employ a broad spectrum of scientific, technical
and operational staff that specialise in forestry,
biodiversity, recreation, waste regulation and
enforcement, flood risk management and incident
response.
