And 4 MileWheelchair Event

Palace, past the Palace and over the Grand Bridge, before a spectacular
lakeside section. A challenging route for established runners, this event
also welcomes all ages and abilities. For under 15s there is a junior 1 mile
fun run, and for the first time a wheelchair event which follows 4 miles
of the 7k route, (missing out the off-road section). The Children’s Brain
Injury Trust, a national charity based at Baynards Green near Bicester will
be fundraising at the run, marking the end of Brain Injury Action Week.

The wheelchair event is being pioneered by young Edward MdDonagh,
accompanied by Johnathan Watson, who, aged 24, suffered a life-
changing brain injury in a car accident at the age of 8. Edward is
fundraising for the Children’s Trust which supported him through his year-
long stay in hospital and rehabilitation.
