Blue Cross receives
£9,000 donation
Burford-based charity Blue Cross have benefited from a donation of almost £9,000 which was collected
from customers by Pets at Home. The shop’s Very Important Pets club members are awarded points for their
purchases which can be converted into funding for a charity of their choice. Nationally, a staggering £700,000
was donated to 533 charities.
Blue Cross is a rehoming charity which specialises in cats, dogs, small animals and horses. Owners who can
no longer care for their pets are taken care of by the Blue Cross until they find a suitable match. The charity
has been running since 1897 and relies on donations to carry out its vital work. To find out more and to see the
