Carterton Lions’ den…
People of Carterton and West Oxfordshire – celebrate!
You have helped Carterton Lions to make a real difference to a lot of people in
our area!
So far this year we have bought a very special wheelchair for stroke patients
in our area, provided planting and pond equipment for some of our Primary
Schools, given over £1,500 to the Thames Valley Air Ambulance and donated
books to local nursery schools. Our willing hands have been there for a number
of groups and individuals needing our help – parking for the Carterton 10K and
the Carterton Triathlon, providing the administration for the local music school
concert, helping a couple in need to move house and providing the refreshments
for the local patients’ feedback day. Not to mention our monthly car boot sales!
And here comes Christmas…with the very special Santa Claus on hand to make
the children (and the adults!) smile. Every year we are asked whether he will be
coming around – and the answer is yes! So watch out for details of where he
will be.
