Victims Charity in Top 20 List of
Gay-Friendly Employers
The independent charity for victims and
witnesses of crime, Victim Support, is
14th out of the top 100 most gay-friendly
workplace in the UK, according to gay rights
charity Stonewall.
The latest Workplace Equality Index
calculated by Stonewall ranks Victim
Support as the top national charity and
second best LGBT employer in the not-for-
profit sector. Victim Support was also rated
the 3rd best gay-friendly employer in Wales.
Victim Support ranked higher than big
name employers in business, such as Aviva,
BP and Microsoft, and government bodies,
including Office for National Statistics and
the Environment Agency.
