at the Town Gardens in
Swindon
Swindon & Wiltshire Pride will be celebrating
its 7th event. The stages will be bursting
with entertainment, the shopping zone will
be bustling with energy, the community zone
will be full of anticipation. We are delighted
this year to introduce a fantastic public sector
tent and of course the beautiful park will be
welcoming us all with open arms.
As event organisers we are always looking for
ways to make our pride a little different each
year and this year sees the expansion of the
family area, and Jo Sharpe, chair said “the
popularity of the event promotes inclusivity
between the LGBT community and the wider
community by coming together and enjoying
a colourful day of music, entertainment,
education and most of all fun. We were seeing
more and more families coming along to enjoy
the day. We want to be able to cater for all our
visitors on the day and have added this year
for the first time a dedicated family area where
you will be able to enjoy, face painting, games
and much more”.
The event starts with a colourful Parade
through the streets of old town, starting in
and ending in the Town Gardens. The theme
