This year the main event will be supported by a wider Pride Cymru Festival, scheduled to
take place in the week leading up to the main event, and will include several cultural events
in partner venues throughout the city and beyond.
Pride Cymru will feature hours of music and entertainment with an impressive line-up, as
well as advice and support for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender communities.
Highlights include:
Cabaret Stage with the very best in cabaret, drag and local acts; Youth Zone specially for
11 - 25 year olds to discuss a range of issues with qualified youth workers; Family Zone with
entertainment for young children and their families; Community and Market Zone giving
visitors the opportunity to shop from regional traders and obtain advice from organisations
that support the LGBT community; A fairground, and a range of bars and catering facilities.
The inaugural Parade through the city centre, will return for its third year running and will
be bigger and better than ever. Organisers are encouraging festival-goers not only to have a
great day out and celebrate diversity, but also to fill the streets of Cardiff with colour, floats
and a carnival for the occasion.
