The Multi Award winning Bristol
Pride festival returns for 2014!
Bristol Pride has quickly become one of the
largest Pride events in the UK and 2014
will be one of the largest Bristol festivals.
The Bristol Pride Team have won a number
of awards in the last year including being
named the UKs No2 Best Pride, not bad
considering the other top 3 charge between
£17-25 a ticket. Bristol Pride believes in
offering a fantastic host of activities and
amazing line-up but keeping the event a free
and accessible event for all to attend, not
just those that can afford it.
Pride day itself is home to the South
West’s most colourful parade, massive
outdoor music festival featuring multi stage
entertainment, onsite play and creative
activities, dedicated community and family
areas, licensed bar, food concessions, market
stalls and much more.
Over 25,000 people attended an amazingly
hot 2013 Pride festival, nobody can
guarantee the weather, but expect another
amazing line up for Bristol Pride 2014.
Bristol LGBT Gay Pride is the highlight
in Bristol’s summer festival calendar, and
will be one of the biggest Bristol festivals
for 2014 and one of the only city centre
festivals and to top it all off, entry is still
just by donation! Pride Week returns with
a week of great arts and cultural events
culminating in Pride Day in castle park.
You’ll also want to know about Pride Night
which last year was headlined by Little
Boots and is the Bristol Pride team’s chance
to throw a one off spectacular including DJs
from the scene and LGBT club nights in
one place for one night only!
Pride is a celebration of the lesbian,
gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT)
community, organised by the LGBT
community. Pride is the chance for all
LGBT people, their friends, families and
allies across the whole of the South West to
stand up and declare they are proud of who
they are and their loved ones.
