Location
Highbury College has five sites at different locations in
and around Portsmouth, and is an integral part of the
community that we serve.
Remit
Highbury College has over 40 years teaching and
learning experience. We take pride in our commitment

abilities and from all backgrounds. We provide a vast
range of courses in and around Portsmouth, from basic
skills courses in literacy and numeracy to foundation
degree courses.

We employ Lecturers and Assessors across a wide range
of vocations, including construction, hair and beauty,
healthcare and business courses. Our support staff
provide expertise in finance, administration, IT and HR.
Salary Range and Benefits
Lecturers enjoy 45 days annual leave (excluding bank
holidays) and all staff benefit from our extensive
learning and development programmes. Salaries and
benefits depend upon the position.

Location
We are the busiest emergency ambulance service in
the UK to provide healthcare that is free to patients
at the time they receive it.
Remit
We have over 4,000 staff working in our offices and
ambulance stations across London. As well as roles
directly related to caring for patients—including those
in our control room and on our response vehicles—we
employ people in a range of support departments.
Together, they all play a key part in making sure that
we can respond to anyone needing our help 24 hours a
day, 365 days a year.
Our main role is to respond to emergency 999 calls,
providing medical care to patients across the capital,
24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
