The Oxford Pride Parade will take place in central
Oxford on Saturday 8 June 2013. The Parade
meets at Ship Street (just off Cornmarket) before
setting off at 12 noon along Cornmarket, Queen
Street, New Road, and through Oxford Castle
before taking in Paradise Street, Norfolk Street,
and arriving at Oxpens field for around 1pm. The
theme is - NOT THERE YET
This year, we're adding a fun zone to the field
to provide some added entertainment, and
competition. Tokens for the attractions will
be available to purchase at the Oxford Pride
information stand. Tokens can be purchased at
£1.50 each, four for £5, or ten for £10, all proceeds
go directly to Pride.
There is also the usual line-up of great acts
on the Unison stage. Headlining will be Ryan
Jagger, Booty Luv and Practically Pink. On the
community stage will be a whole host of local acts
including Jo
Clifford and the
Thames Valley
Gay Chorus.
This year we are offering you the chance to go
VIP, a dedicated area set adjacent to the main
stage. The VIP area has its own reasonable priced
bottle & spirits bar, covered seating with tables
and dedicated toilets, you will also have the
opportunity to meet the acts and unlimited use of
the climbing wall, rodeo bull, bungee run and the
jungle obstacle course.
There is limited availability of 200
wristbands for sale at £15 each online or
£17 each on the day (subject to availability),
wristbands must be collected at the Pride
Information point on the day, to collect you
